Kari Sigerson and Eliza Axelson-Chidsey launch Alumnae

Alumnae, a new collection of women’s footwear designed by Kari Sigerson and Eliza Axelson-Chidsey, will launch with its Resort 2016 collection.

Founder, Kari Sigerson is famous for her CFDA Award-winning footwear line, Sigerson Morrison, which she launched with Miranda Morrison in 1991. The duo sold the brand to Marc Fisher in 2006 and parted ways with the company years later. She co-founded Alumnae with recent Royal College of Art graduate, Eliza Axelson-Chidsey, who has worked with Sigerson Morrison, Shinola and Steve Madden in the past.
 
The Alumnae Resort 2016 collection offers Italian-crafted, clean, understated shoes. The partners combine their expertise clean, modern American style shoes with a multi-disciplinary approach to footwear and product design.
