Kim Kardashian West will lead Beautycon LA

Kim Kardashian West will be headlining as a speaker at Beautycon LA next month. She follows Paris Hilton and Laverne Cox who were among the speakers at Beautycon's NY event last month.

Beautcon first announced West's involvement on Instagram with a post saying, "hey dolls, Kim Kardashian West is literally coming to Beautycon LA. Bible? Bible."

The two-day event in LA is offering 100 brand experiences from MAC Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Target and Facebook. Kylie Cosmetics and Charlotte Tilbury are new brands also exhibiting at the festival.

Beautycon LA has stated that it will announce additional celebrity and top beauty speakers in the coming days, with organizers expecting Salma Hayek and Emma Roberts to join the event, as well as Lady Gaga's makeup artist.

Currently confirmed speakers at Beautycon LA are vine star Jay Versace, actress Madelaine Petsch and musician Liane V . Tokyo Stylez, the mastermind behind wigs worn by Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner, has also been confirmed. Subject matter expected from panelists is expected to cover gender fluidity, entrepreneurship and mind and body wellness.

Beautycon began in 2011 as an exclusive YouTube beauty influencer event. It has since grown to become a multi-city event featuring talks hosted by pop culture speakers and brand activations, all of which is open to the public.

From a numbers standpoint, 15,000 guests attended Beautycon LA last year. This time round, organizers have expanded the event"s footprint by 100,000 square feet to accommodate the 22,000 guests that are expected.

Beautycon LA takes place July 14 and 15 at the LA Convention Center. Tickets are available for single day, both days, and organized VIP packages.
