Puma confirmed in February a huge brand ambassador deal with Kylie Jenner, and last weekend, the 18-year-old took to social media to share the first photo from the Puma campaign she stars in.
“Excited to reveal my campaign for the @PUMA Fierce, a lightweight trainer with zero excuses,” said Kylie on Twitter. She announced the April 1 release date for the Puma Fierce sneaker on Instagram as well. Puma launched a landing page for the new sneaker on its website.
Kylie is seen wearing the new trainer in the campaign as well as a blue Puma top and matching tights. The German sportswear company released another photo from the campaign featuring Kylie working out with a leather medicine ball.
The Puma Fierce is a technical trainer with “upper bootie construction with technical overlays, a supportive midsole, and flex grooved outsole allowing for fast and dynamic multi-directional movements,” according to the brand’s press release. The sneaker is expected to retail for $90.
The youngest Kardashian-Jenner clan member was made a brand ambassador for Puma in February. The partnership is rumored to be a seven-figure deal for around $1 million. Kylie joins Rihanna as one of Puma's brand ambassadors, but so far only the latter has a sneaker and apparel deal. In addition to Puma, Kylie has a women’s clothing collection with Kendall Jenner at PacSun and her own cosmetics line.
