The Montreal-based company started expanding in 2004 and began to grow rapidly by 2010. It expects to open 4 more boutiques in Panama as well. Prior to this latest opening, it opened locations in Oman, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Lebanon.

"We are extremely proud of bringing our Canadian brand La Vie en Rose to a new continent," said François Roberge, President and CEO of La Vie en Rose. "This country presents a high sale potential with 85% of its population aged under 55 years old. In the medium term, we are expecting significant growth for la Vie en Rose boutiques in other Central and South American countries."

In the next 12 months, La Vie en Rose plans to open 23 stores, and anticipates doubling its sales within the next 3 years. In addition to the South American market, the company has set its sights on the Asian market and exporting its swimwear concepts, la Vie en Rose Aqua and Bikini Village.

La Vie en Rose has nearly 230 boutiques in Canada and over 90 stores in 18 countries beyond its borders.
