As soon as the fashion weeks were over, during which the work of Lacoste’s creative director Felipe Oliveira Baptista received once again a lot of attention, the crocodile brand plunged straight into its next project: the launch of its first womenswear boutique.

The 90m² store, located inside the Passy Plaza shopping centre in Paris, showcases the brand’s collections for women in a “lounge atmosphere”. Its interior contains soft colours and is decorated with “oak wooden flooring, fitted carpets and lit moucharabieh screens.”

The boutique will offer 4 different lines every year as well as plenty of accessories and leather goods, with the star of the show this season being its new ‘Cathy Bag’. Lacoste’s aim is to offer a complete urban/sportswear wardrobe, including trench coats and comfortable dresses that allow women to move freely. This store opening in Paris is a big step in the development of its retail business dedicated to women.
