Lancome presents dramatic winter palette for holiday 2015

For the Christmas holiday season, Lancôme has created a makeup collection featuring intense shades for a glamorous and sophisticated look. Metallic shadows with golden hints and an intense red shade for lips, the new collection of winter essentials is available now at Sephora and rolls out across select retailers through November.

2015 is a year full of emotion and celebration for the Lancôme brand, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary. To end the year in style, Lancôme presents a limited edition makeup collection, My French Noel, containing intense shades directly inspired from the label's winter color palette.


An intense and metallic eye makeup

The French brand has revealed La Palette 29, Faubourg Saint Honoré evoking the address of its legendary institute in Paris. The bright and golden case contains six eyeshadows that include beige and violet hues as well as gold and copper shades. Three lip products complete the palette: a hydrating lip base and two matte shades (Cherry Red and Rich Burgundy)(US $65).

Three new color nuances have been added to the brand's iconic Hypnôse Dazzling eyeshadows in the same tonality as the palette: Gold Shimmer, Copper Shimmer and Nuit Enchantée (US $25).

To emphasize the eyes, Lancôme presents the Hypnôse Stardust Golden Top Coat mascara, a transparent formula enriched with sparkling gold. The top coat should be used over classic black mascara to add a touch of glamour and sparkle to the eyes (US $27.50).


A glowing complexion with sophisticated lips

This winter, skin is left to breathe, showcasing a transparent and luminous face. To get the look, Lancôme introduces a new limited edition sparkling loose powder: Poudre de Lumière. The texture is light and airy, ideal for brightening up any complexion (US $58).

Lips are intense for the holidays, even combined with strong eyes thanks to three deep and sophisticated shades from the L'Absolu Rouge range: Rouge Amour, Caprice and Rouge Carrousel (US $30.50). The end-of-the-year festivities are the perfect occasion to style a glamorous beauty look highlighting both lips and eyes.

The winter palette of the French brand is complete with the essential Vernis in Love nail polishes, presented in Rouge Secret (dark red), Prune Rêvé (dark prune) and Nuit Enchantée (deep violet) shades and the Top Coat Goldleaf Effect polish for an added golden flair (US $15.50).

Certain items of the Lancôme 2015 Christmas collection are on sale at Sephora and will be available in other retailers as of November.
