We have learned from a police source that the day after Kim Kardashian's hold-up, Taiwanese billionaire Shaw-Lan Wang, 75, was the victim of a jewellery robbery at her Parisian home, with an estimated loss of over €150,000.

According to a police source, partially confirming the information reported on Parisien.fr, the Taiwanese media mogul, who is also a member of the Lanvin fashion label's board of directors, was the victim of a daytime robbery at her home in Paris' 16th arrondissement, while she was having a siesta.

Billionaire businesswoman Shaw-Lan Wang is the majority shareholder of the Lanvin fashion label, and also a director at international media group United Daily News, besides being a French culture enthusiast.

The robbery took place on 4th October, the day after the hold-up on reality TV star Kim Kardashian. "But the two crimes are not connected, the modus operandi is not the same," commented the police source.

While Shaw-Lan Wang was asleep, two men broke into her flat in the middle of the afternoon, stealing jewellery, mobile phones and "several luxury articles." They "did not attack the victim," stated the police source, "but took away a ring she was wearing on a finger" before running away.

The stolen goods are estimated to be worth between €150,000 and €200,000. The 1st District of the Paris Criminal Police is conducting the investigation.

Kim Kardashian was attacked and tied up in the night between 2nd and 3rd October, inside a discreet luxury residential hotel in Paris. The attackers stole jewellery worth €9 million.
