Levi Strauss & Co. announced on Wednesday the appointment of Christopher McCormick to the Board of Directors. McCormick joined the company board on April 13, 2016.
Prior to joining the Board of Directors, the former LL Bean CEO retired from LL Bean in March after working with the company for 33 years, 15 of which were spent as CEO. McCormick held the position of LL Bean Chief Operating Officer in May 2001 before becoming the first non-family member to take the title of president and CEO.
