Lindsay Lohan is gearing up to make a move on the cosmetics industry, by launching her own makeup range.

The "Mean Girls" star made the announcement during a recent appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show," when she made reference to an upcoming "lipstick and beauty line" that she has been secretly working on. And although she didn't delve any deeper into the topic during her interview with Williams, an image unveiled in the studio indicates that her debut collection might include lipsticks, a mirrored powder compact and an eyeshadow.

The beauty line is the latest in a long list of side projects for the actress and entrepreneur, who also revealed on the show that she owns a club in Athens (and is preparing to launch a nightspot in Mykonos this summer), and is in talks to design her own island in Dubai.

If 2017 was the year of the celebrity beauty collection -- with Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Victoria Beckham launching collaborative or own-brand cosmetics -- then the trend appears to be going strong for 2018, too. Supermodel, actress and skincare entrepreneur Christie Brinkley recently announced that she will be launching her own makeup line this February, while soccer star David Beckham is following in his wife's footsteps with the launch of a male grooming line dubbed ‘House 99' set for next month.
