MAC Cosmetics launches e-commerce in Mexico
The makeup brand, part of the Estée Lauder group, has made its online debut in Mexico.
The new e-commerce site offers the brand’s latest products, including a lipstick range by Giambattista Valli, and will feature editorial content within its Art & Culture section with interviews to MAC’s artists and influencers.
The launch of MAC’s e-commerce business speaks to Mexico’s growing beauty market, which generated in 2014 nearly 3 trillion Mexican pesos, about $985 million, according to EAE business school in Barcelona.
Owned by Estée Lauder Companies since 1994, MAC has presence in over 90 countries around the world and creates 50 collections a year.
