Macy’s Red Dress collection to kick off New York Fashion Week February 11

Macy’s, lead sponsor for Go Red for Women through its Red Dress Collection since 2003, will once again open New York Fashion Week on February 11 to increase awareness of and incite action against heart disease. Since 2003, Macy’s has raised over $55 million for heart health research and education.

The event will feature over 20 celebrities in red couture gowns by up-and-coming designers Kajan “Cake” Carlos, Grace Lee-Lim and Conrad Booker. Celebrities slated to attend the event include Candace Cameron Bure, Gail Simmons, Madison Beer, Monica, Skylar Diggins, Soleil Moon Frye, Ta’Rhonda jones and Vanna White.
"The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement truly appreciates the opportunity to be a part of New York Fashion Week. The aim here is simple: to make heart health and a Well-Woman Visit this season's must-haves from the runway," said Nancy Brown, Chief Executive Officer, American Heart Association.
