The commercial real estate trade show that takes place in Cannes is holding its next edition on 18 to 20 November at the Palais des Festivals, where 700 companies from 76 countries are expected to be on exhibit.

A year after celebrating its 20th anniversary via an edition that brought together trade professionals from 75 different countries, the Reed Midem event has once again expanded its offering.

Notably, some sixty new exhibitors will be present, with a considerable number of delegates coming from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and also Turkey and Slovakia.

In terms of visitor, more than 8,400 trade professionals are expected, including 2,300 property developers and 2,400 retailers, with 375 brands taking part in the show for the first time.

Reputed for its rows full of international projects, Mapic is also known for its numerous conferences. This edition will not disappoint in this regard, with many highlights, executives and trade specialists on the schedule to discuss travel retail, big data, high street retail, retailtainment, luxury and omnichannel. Added to these there will be discussions based on different markets with conferences dedicated to American, French, Italian and Chinese retail.

In addition to the executives of the major international promoters, these various talks will be led by Sebastien Bismuth (Undiz), Boris Saragaglia (Spartoo), Li Fang (LVMH), Nicolas Jambin (Hopshop), Guillaume Guibault (Le Slip Français), Laure Confavreux Colliex (Manifesto), Niel Roberts (Unilever), and Camille Bonnasse (Google).

The trade show will once again be the occasion for its organiser to hand out the Mapic Awards, of which there are ten this year. The nominees have been previously chosen among the 110 nominations received this year: a record. They will be awarded on 19 November.
