Maroc in Mode and Maroc Sourcing to showcase denim

Casablanca is getting ready for the twelfth edition of Maroc in Mode and the eleventh of Maroc Sourcing. The events, which are both organized by AMITH (Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing), will take place from October 15-16 and will once more be held side by side.

Between manufacturers and quick response specialists exhibiting at Maroc in Mode, and upstream textile suppliers at Morocco Sourcing, approximately 300 companies from the Euromed zone will be represented—numbers that are similar to those from last year.

This time, however, following the creation of a "Moroccan Denim Cluster" in late 2013, the focus will be on Moroccan companies operating in the segment. To better raise awareness about Moroccan expertise in the field, Mode in Maroc will feature a “denim pavilion”, to included twenty or so manufacturers this year.

The sixth largest supplier of apparel to the European Union, Morocco would like to highlight specific strengths, such as in denim, alongside the perennially exhibiting suppliers of ready-to-wear, knitwear, lingerie, bath and footwear.
