McArthurGlen's Designer Outlets named in China Best Overseas Shopping Centre
McArthurGlen’s Designer Outlets have been recognized as Best Overseas Shopping Centre by Travel Weekly China for second consecutive year.
The owner, developer and manager of Designer Outlets (located in countries such as the UK, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, Canada and Greece) has managed to attract an increasing number of Chinese tourists looking to buy from some of the world’s most important fashion, sportswear and homewares brands.
In the last five years, tourism grew by 400% in McArthurGlen shopping centres. The majority of international visitors come from China and in 2015 spending from Chinese tourists grew by 75% compared to the same period the prior year.

The group offers tax free shopping at its centres and engages with Chinese visitors through its office in Beijing and through social media, including Chinese platforms Weibo and WeChat.
