Men's Wearhouse hires Chief Digital Officer

Men's Wearhouse, Inc. on Monday announced the appointment of Ben Baum as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer reporting to Doug Ewert, CEO.

In this newly created position, Mr. Baum will lead all digital and omni-channel commerce and initiatives across digital, mobile and emerging platforms within The Men's Wearhouse organization including all individual brands and businesses via integrated omni-channel solutions.

"Ben has an incredible track record developing and leading digital operations in the fashion retail industry," stated Ewert.  "His knowledge, experience, insight and innovation will help us chart an exciting new direction for our company.  Ben's breadth of experience will be a tremendous asset as we leverage technology to provide an engaging customer service experience across all channels."

Mr. Baum comes to Men's Wearhouse with prior experience as Chief Digital Officer of Bebe Stores, Inc.; Head of Business Development, Multichannel Retail, Shopping at Google Inc.; and several merchandising positions at Target, including women's apparel and segmentation merchandising.

Men's Wearhouse is one of North America's largest specialty retailers of men's apparel with 1,758 stores. Additionally, Men's Wearhouse operates a global corporate apparel and workwear group consisting of Twin Hill in the United States and Dimensions, Alexandra and Yaffy in the United Kingdom.
