Michael Kors adds Robin Freestone to Board of Directors

Michael Kors on Friday announced the appointment of Robin Freestone to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. The appointment brings the Michael Kors Board membership to nine, seven of which are independent directors.
 

Freestone currently serves as a non-executive director of Smith and Nephew plc and moneysupermarket.com. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Pearson Plc after having served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, and prior to joining Pearson Plc, he held senior financial positions at Amersham plc, Henkel Chemicals UK Ltd, ICI/Zeneca Argochemicals Ltd (now Syngenta), and Touche Ross (now Deloitte) where he began his financial and accounting career.

The luxury ready-to-wear and accessories brand recently launched e-commerce in the UK, Germany, and France and will add Spain and Italy this fall before launching in all of Europe in December.
