Moda Operandi launches exclusive capsule with The Vampire's Wife
Online luxury fashion retailer Moda Operandi has released an exclusive 22-look capsule with The Vampire’s Wife, featuring the brand’s signature vintage silhouettes.
The collection includes the brand's Festival Dresses in velvet, metallic chiffon, corduroy and cotton, as well as tailored trousers and jackets. The colors used are bright, ranging from deep jewel tones to upbeat pastels, and some pieces feature floral prints or even British Liberty fabrics.
In a release, designer Susie Cave commented, “I designed a collection for Moda Operandi to specifically look beautiful in America. I often feel like wearing brighter colors when I visit America –the light is always so beautiful there – I designed clothes to wear from day to night by just changing shoes from slides to high heel.”
Known for its retro silhouettes with high collars, ruffled sleeves and vivid colors, The Vampire’s Wife was founded by Cave and her husband Nick in Brighton, UK in 2015. The label has built up a solid fanbase among It-girls and fashion insiders, with stars including Maggie Gyllenhaal, Alexa Chung, Florence Welch, Kate Moss and Dakota Johnson all having been spotted wearing the brand’s designs.
The Vampire’s Wife capsule collection is available for purchase now on the Moda Operandi website, with prices ranging from $670 to $1,985.
