Moss Bros Group Plc, the UK's No.1 branded suit specialist, announces the appointment of Robin Piggott as Group Finance Director, with effect from 28th June 2010.

Robin will take over the role from Bryan Portman, who has been interim CFO since April 2010.

Robin is an experienced listed company Finance Director, with considerable retail sector experience including his most recent role at Alexon Group plc, which he joined in 1987, holding a variety of different financial and commercial roles and ultimately becoming the Group Finance Director in 1995. Before this he held senior financial roles at Granada Group plc and Geest Industries plc.

Brian Brick, CEO, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Robin to the Company. He has considerable experience of retailing and of leading the finance function of multi-brand, multi-site operations.”

The Group achieved revenue of £128.7m by the year ending 2009, a 0.7% decrease on the prior year.
