Naked adds Global Partners Fund Principal Edward Hanson to Board

Naked Brand on Wednesday announced the addition of Edward Hanson to its Board of Directors. He joined the Board on January 17, 2017, and he serves as an independent director.

 
Hanson has served as Principal at Global Partners Fund, a private equity fund investing in asset backed businesses, since 2009. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Long Island Iced Tea Corp., and is also currently a Director of London-based investment companies Corviglia Capital Limited and Haka Capital Limited.
 
Prior to joining Global Partners Fund, Hanson served as Director at Babcock & Brown, focused on private equity and real estate. He was also previously a member of the Cullen Agricultural Holding Corp Board.

Hanson joined the Naked Brand Board of Directors just days after the company proposed its merger with Bendon Ltd. If the merger is accepted, Naked CEO Carole Hochman will become Chief Creative Officer of the company and she will serve on the Board of Directors with Bendon Executive Chairman Justin Davis-Rice.

The addition of Hanson increases the Naked Brand Board of Directors to nine.
