Now 78 years old, Knight who started his career selling Japanese sneakers from the trunk of his car, explains that he is feeling strong, but believes it is better to leave two years too early instead of two years too late.

Phil Knight shares anecdotes from his journey in a new memoir titled Shoe Dog. In his book, we learn that it is a student who drew the Nike logo, the world's most famous check, for 35 dollars, and that the brand was almost named Dimension Six. More than 50 years since its launch, Nike is today worth 30 billion dollars.
