After three years, fashion retailer Nordstrom has opened its relocated store, originally at the opposite end of the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition to carrying brand names including Rag & Bone, Elizabeth & James, A.L.C., Frame and Madewell (Nordstrom is the only department store that offers Madewell outside of the United States), the retailer also offers several Hawaii-based designers and brands, including Jana Lam, Tula, Workshop 28, Alola Maui, Michal Abramovitz and Simply Sisters.

The store opened on the five-year anniversary of the March 11, 2011 tsunami that struck Japan. To honor customers and employees affected by the event, Nordstrom is donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross in Hawaii to support disaster relief efforts.

Founded in 1901 in Seattle, Washington, Nordstrom, Inc. is a U.S.-based leading fashion specialty retailer. The company currently operates 326 stores in 39 states, Canada and Puerto Rico and 197 Nordstrom Rack Stores, as well as an e-commerce site. The company also owns and operates Trunk Club.
