Nordstrom to host opening galas for new Toronto locations

Nordstrom will soon be welcoming two new Toronto retail locations and the retailer is hosting grand opening in-store galas to mark the event.

Before stores open to the public this fall, guests can get a sneak peek of the new stores during an evening event.

In celebration of its new Nordstrom location at the CF Toronto Eaton Center, the American retailer will host a gala on September 14, from 7 to 10 pm and for its Nordstrom location at the Yorkdale Shopping Center, on October 19, from 7 to 10 pm.

Both events will feature a fashion show highlighting collections from top designers as well as special performances and appearances by Canadian designers such as Vejas Kruszewski, Aurora James, and more.

Nordstrom Eaton Centre will officially open on Friday, September 16 and Nordstrom Yorkdale Shopping Centre will open on Friday, October 21.

Tickets are $150 per person for each gala event. All gala proceeds will benefit organizations such as Covenant House Toronto, SickKids Foundation and more.
