The store offers clothing and accessories for men, women, children and babies, as well as a special section for maternity clothes.

Old Navy Indonesia opens on the back of an increase in demand for American fashion and retailers in Southeast Asia.

“Indonesian customers understand the international retail scene very well,” said Old Navy senior director of franchise buying, Michele Chinn Fahey.

“There’s a really a high awareness of international retail brands and a growing demand for American fashion.”

Old Navy partnered with Armaan Retail Indonesia for its debut.

“With 250 million people living across 15,000 islands, and three different time zones, Indonesia has huge potential,” said Armaan Retail CEO, Benjamin Handradjasa.

Gap Inc. owns Old Navy alongside Athleta, Banana Republic and Intermix. The brand has more than 700 stores and point-of-sales across 11 countries.
