Original Penguin on Thursday evening launched a pop up exhibition with New York-based artist Jeremyville.

The installation, which is at the brand’s Broadway retail location in New York City, features several pieces of framed artwork by Jeremyville, an over-sized sculpture and three limited-edition collaboration t-shirts from the artist and the brand. The capsule collection consists of exclusive designs from the illustrator, and each t-shirt is individually numbered above the tag, making it a one-of-a-kind piece.
Jeremyville grew up in Sydney, Australia and is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. He has an Architecture Degree from Sydney University and has been exhibited at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York City, La Casa Encendida Museum in Madrid, the Madre Museum in Napoli, Colette in Paris, Capellini in New York City, the 798 Arts District in Beijing and in many private collections around the world. His work was selected by Steven Heller, Editor at the New York Times, for the book 100 Best Illustrators in the World, published by Taschen.
In addition, the artist has created projects for Disney and Mercedes-Benz, as well as fashion, accessories and grooming brands, like Uniqlo, Urban Outfitters, Converse, Swatch and Kiehl’s.
The Jeremyville x Original Penguin pop up exhibition will remain at the Original Penguin Broadway store at 654 Broadway through April 21, 2016.
