Two Canadian fashion houses are coming together in celebration of made-in-Canada production. Canadian fashion brand Pink Tartan has launched a Shirt Shop at Holt Renfrew in Toronto and at Ogilvy’s in Montreal.
The Canadian department store launch follows Pink Tartan’s commitment to moving the brand’s production back to Canada.
Recognized as the DNA of the Pink Tartan brand, the Shirt Shop features 8 made-in-Canada styles for Fall, including the Mix Stripe Shirt (CAD $295), the Newport Shirt (CAD $295), and more, available in various prints and colours.
Pink Tartan, headed by founder and designer Kimberley Newport-Mimran, marked 15 years in business in 2017. The brand plans to move as much as 80 percent of production, formerly overseas, back to Canada.
The Pink Tartan line is also carried at Hudson’s Bay, as well as at specialty stores across North America, Central America, Middle East and Europe. Pink Tartan also has a flagship store in Toronto’s Yorkville shopping district.
The Shirt Shop at Holt Renfrew and at Ogilvy’s opened earlier this month.
