Pitti Bimbo readies for 87th edition
From June 21 to 23, the 87th edition of children's fashion and accessories tradeshow, Pitti Bimbo, will take place in Florence.
The event will welcome 557 brands, 337 of which are international, showcasing their latest wares to some 5,300 buyers among the 10,000 visitors who are expected to attend.
Pitti Bimbo, which is set up around ten key areas including EcoEthnic, Sport Generation and The Nest -- dedicated to small independent brands and “up-and-coming” companies worth keeping an eye on -- is expecting 140 brands that are just starting out or which are are returning to the event. Much like confirmed French brands Blune Paris, Easy Peasy, Eleven Paris and Louise Misha.
At the end of the show, via the e-Pitti.com platform, more than 360 stands from Pitti Bimbo 87 will be put online, with 2,000 products becoming available to certified buyers for purchase.
A virtual tradeshow will also debut on July 2 and will run over eight weeks. Launching in 2011, e-Pitti has witnessed great growth success with 27% of buyers transitioning uniquely to this site.
