Primark entrusts Wolfgang Krogmann with European market

Published
Dec 6, 2010

Primark clearly has high development ambitions. The Irish clothing brand, owned by the British group Associated British Foods Plc, has just appointed Wolfgang Krogmann as its Northern Europe director. For now, he will be responsible for Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. In addition to those three countries and its own huge domestic market (United Kingdom and Ireland), the chain is also present in Spain and Portugal.

Wolfgang Krogmann has had plenty of experience in the retail sector; most notably his time spent managing H&M in Germany from 1984 to 1995. He then went on to be member of the director’s board at Jean Pascale, Ulla Popken and Adler successively. Krogmann has also worked for a consulting firm in commercial real estate.
