New York City-based fashion label, Public School found a way to get the general public involved in its runway show at New York Fashion Week: Men’s.
The CFDA Award winning brand by Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osbourne took to social media to announce how fans of the brand can get to the show without an official invite. Fifty people will be lucky enough to attend the show by obtaining a special wristband at the Whitney Museum that will admit attendees on a first-come-first-serve basis. Those that received the admittance wristbands had to look for the “WNL” at the Museum at 5pm to receive it.
The brand is one of many to get the general public involved in the show. Last season in September, Rag & Bone partnered with Uber to give riders a chance to be admitted at its SS16 show.
Public School will present its FW16 collection on February 2 at 11am at Milk Studios.
