Pure London adds China trade fair

Pure London is now taking a turn at a Chinese edition, with its first show in the country to take place in October 2014. The British trade show chose Shanghai as its venue, a city that has already attracted many exhibition organisers, including big events like Novomania and Intertextile.

Pure Shanghai, a natural choice the project’s name, is created in partnership with a government agency well known in the industry, the CCPIT-Tex, the textile division of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The body is already working with Messe Frankfurt for Intertextile Shanghai and with the Chic Young Blood show in Beijing.

Shanghai is an ever-popular choice for key fashion tradeshow players, taking the limelight from the country's capital. French trade show Tranoï also planning a trade show for Shanghai, likely to launch in 2015.
