Randa acquires R&S Sales Footwear

Randa announced Thursday the acquisition of R&S Sales assets and operations. The acquisition elevates Randa to the position of market leader in the seasonal footwear category.

 
Founded in 1980, R&S Sales develops and markets men’s and women’s seasonal footwear in all major channels of distribution. The R&S acquisition expands Randa’s relationships with partners Chaps and Williamson-Dickies and forges new relationships with Rockport, Jessica Simpson and Hanes.
 
Randa first launched its seasonal footwear business in 2012 with three brands in the US. Since then, the business has grown 300% and includes seven brands in the US, Canada, Mexico and Australia.

In addition, Steven Podhaizer, who owned and managed R&S Sales, will join Randa as Senior Vice President managing the combined seasonal footwear business.
 
Randa collaborates with brands to design, reinvent, manufacture, distribute and market men’s and boys’ leather goods and accessories.
