Saks last week opened its new Collective specialty store at 200 Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, CT.

The Collective serves as a standalone, two-level retail location devoted to contemporary designers and brands such as Carven, Kenzo, Opening Ceremony, Public School and Jonathan Simkhai among others. The 14,000-square-foot location offers ready-to-wear, denim, accessories, and jewelry by trend and category, and it houses a lounge area and a Tom Ford Beauty counter.

Prior to opening The Collective, Saks opened its first standalone footwear store, 10022-SHOE, in Greenwich, CT. Saks first announced the women’s shoe store, which is located at 20 East Elm Street store, in July 2015 as part of a new initiative to expand its brand offering in Connecticut. The Collective and 10022-SHOE are complimentary stores that will be joined by The Vault, a jewelry store, in May 2017.

Saks parent company Hudson’s Bay Company cut its full-year revenue forecast in January, citing retail headwinds in the US and Europe. The company was also reported to be eyeing a takeover of Macy’s, which recently cut thousands of jobs and closed a number of retail locations.

The Collective was first announced in October 2015.
