Salewa: Olivier Gouby, formerly at Norrona, named sales manager

Oberalp is bolstering its teams. The Italian group has just created a sales manager post for Salewa, its German mountaineering brand. New duties have been assigned to Olivier Gouby, who spent 8 years at Norrona in marketing and business positions before becoming director of European sales in 2012.

At Salewa, he is to report directly to Massimo Baratto, CEO of the group (Salewa, Dynafit…). Keep in mind, for instance, Etienne Lassus, sales manager France, reports to Pierre-Jean Touchard, the subsidiary’s director, but then will also likewise report to Olivier Gouby.

In Asia, meanwhile, Salewa has just named Bernhard Zhou as sales manager China. The 48-year-old manager, who has worked for Nike and DHL among others, will report to Yun Li, CEO at Salewa China.

Oberalp generates approximately 300 million euros in revenues.
