Seidensticker opens its first store in Dubai

The German shirtmaker wants to strengthen the international presence of its brand and has been since mid-July represented in Dubai by a franchised store. The new shop is located in the Festival City Mall, one of the most important shopping centers of the city.

The store is operated through a local partner, which has according to Seidensticker "many years of experience in Dubai". On the 160 m² site, the recently opened store adopts the same concept Seidensticker had already tested in its own boutique in Cologne, Germany.

The range includes products from the core brand of the house, as well as a selection of the premium brand Jacques Britt. With the new store in Dubai, Seidensticker has 48 own stores worldwide.

"The expansion in Dubai was planned for quite some time,” said Gerd Oliver Seidensticker, managing partner of the Seidensticker Group. “It was important to us in this case to find the right local partner. In this partnership, we see good potential for further and sustained expansion in the Arabian Gulf. The magnetism and positive image of Dubai make us feel very confident in the location for this pilot project”.

The German company has also franchised stores with North African and Arabian partners.
