Sequential Brands names Carolyn D'Angelo President of Home Division

Published
Sep 12, 2017

Carolyn D'Angelo will lead Sequential Brands Group's home brands which include Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, and Linens N' Things.

"Carolyn has an established track record of building some of the best brands in home," said Karen Murray, CEO of Sequential Brands Group. Murray also highlighted D'Angelo's experience in licensing as an asset that Sequential plans to utilize.

Prior to Sequential, D'Angelo launched the home division of Iconix Brand Group. She became the EVP of Brand Management for Iconix's Women's and Home divisions where she oversaw 16 brands. She was with Iconix for ten years.

Before Iconix, D'Angelo was SVP at Ralph Lauren Home. She led the bed and bath business for Ralph Lauren at Westpoint Home. She also was previously a SVP of marketing and licensing at Waverly Lifestyle Group where she started that company's first licensed program using Waverly's design library archives.

"When I think about the most iconic home brand in the marketplace, Martha Stewart immediately comes to mind. With my experience and relationships in the space, I want to unlock the many growth opportunities that exist for the brand," said Ms. D'Angelo.

She also was a VP, General Manager of the Disney division at Springs Industries. In that role, she grew the bed and bath licensing business for Disney character and film products.

D'Angelo received her MBA from Pace University in 1986. She is also currently Adjunct Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology and a member of its Home Products Advisory Board.
