Shinola hires Tom Lewand as CEO

Shinola announced on Thursday the appointment of Tom Lewand as Chief Executive Officer. Lewand heads to the company from the National Football League’s Detroit Lions franchise where he served as team President.

 
Lewand worked for the Detroit Lions for 20 years and served as President since January 2009 following the team’s winless season, which marked as the first in NFL history. Prior to serving as President, he held the Chief Operating Officer position. He was released from the franchise in November.

In addition to Lewand’s appointment, the Detroit-based watch and leather goods maker made several executive appointments. Christopher Hull is named Chief Merchant, Shannon Washburn is appointed to VP of Watch Development, Kara Berg is named VP of Sales, Whitney Delgado is VP of Design and Trish O’Callaghan is VP of Communications.
