Shinola opens 25th retail location in SoHo in New York City
Shinola on Friday achieved a milestone with the opening of its 25th global retail location at 101 Prince Street in New York City. The new SoHo store also marks as the Detroit-based company’s third retail location in New York City, joining stores in Tribeca in Manhattan and Dumbo in Brooklyn.
The 1,880-square-foot store features an interior similar to all Shinola stores with wooden shelving and fixtures and grey and natural colored walls. The leather goods company is offering its full product offering in store, including watches, bikes, bags, and notebooks among others. However, the store's main event is its women’s products, including Pamela Love-designed jewelry and handbags, which are the focal point of the store’s offering.
The SoHo store is just one of many Shinola stores to open this year. The company plans to open a second Chicago store on Rush Street, a store in Oakbrook, IL and a store at Tyson’s Center in Virginia all in August, as well as in Bellevue Square in Washington and Columbus, OH, both in October.
Shinola also opened stores this year in Dallas, Denver, Troy, MI and Byron Center, MI.
