Sibling's Joe Bates passes away

UK-based fashion brand Sibling tragically lost one of its founders over the weekend when Joe Bates, who started the brand together with Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery, died from cancer.

The news were revealed on LOVE Magazine's Instagram account, which stated: "RIP our gorgeous and beloved friend Joe Bates of SIBLING. He lost his long battle with cancer at the weekend. We will miss his sharp wit and talent hugely, his legacy will continue through the SIBLING label."

The British Fashion Council's CEO Caroline Rush said: “Joe Bates was a bright, funny and brilliant person. He had a huge heart and so much talent. It is incredibly sad that someone with so much to give the world is gone. Deep sympathies go to Sid, Cozette, his friends and family.”

On its Instagram, Sibling thanked all its friends and supporters for their love and messages.
