Simons launches first ever Unisex Edition
Canadian retailer Simons announced on Monday the launch of its first ever Unisex Edition for the fall/winter 2016-2017 season.
“The introduction of the Unisex Edition presents a way of dressing to our customers that highlights the freedom to wear what one defines as beautiful,” says CEO Peter Simons, in a news statement. “For me, our Unisex Edition is simply a small window that has opened to shine light on the fashion society of tomorrow […]”
The Unisex Edition will consist of shapes and silhouettes that are not constrained by gender norms. It will feature avant-garde styles by Canadian designers such as Rad Hourani and Vejas Kruszewski, as well as a selection of curated pieces from Simons private labels: Le31, DJAB, Icône, Twik and Contemporaine collections.
“This concept has a way of surprising you, and may even question your definition of the kind of clothing that men and women wear,” Simons explains.
The Unisex Edition can now be found online at Simons.ca.
Simons was founded in Quebec City in 1840. It has 13 retail locations across Canada including in Quebec, Ontario and Vancouver.
