Steve Madden opens largest NYC store

Steve Madden opened a 2,000 square foot store in Times Square this month. The new store is the largest retail footprint for the brand in New York.

In addition to the standard Steve Madden footwear, the new Times Square store exclusively sells men's and women's apparel. The Steve Madden apparel collection includes graphic tees and cropped hoodies. The new store has a special area with fitting rooms to try on clothing.

Price points for tees begin at $34. Hoodies are $60, and an embellished women's denim jacket sells for $98.

The store also sells a special Made in the USA Steve Madden collection of footwear that has been manufactured at Steve Madden's Long Island City factory. This line uses genuine leather and natural wood.

The Made in the USA styles are hand painted with graffiti designs and studs, paying tribute to their rock and roll music inspiration. Retail price points for the footwear collection range from $100 to $250.

The new Times Square store will also carry the Steve Madden company's other brands. Customers can expect to see assortments from Steven by Steve Madden, Dolce Vita, and Superga.

The store is located at 3 Times Square in New York City on the corner of 42nd St. and 7th Ave.
