Supergroup strengthens its management team

Supergroup, the British group behind Superdry, continues to consolidate its team with the announcement of two major appointments to its management team. Its CEO, Julian Dunkerton, will be supported by a new Administrative and Financial Director as well as the new role of Chief Operating Officer. As of 10th April, Suzanne Given will be overseeing improvements to the group’s operations and the efficiency of the retail model in England, as well as support functions for marketing, logistics, sourcing, IT and property.

For the past year she has been Buying Director (Fashion) at John Lewis, having started her career at Harrods, Sainsbury’s and House of Fraser before moving to a director-level position at TK Maxx.

As for the group’s new Director of Finance, Shaun Wills is the former Chief Operating Officer of Habitat and will join Supergroup on 23rd April. He was Finance Director at Fat Face from 2008 to 2010, having joined from New Look where he had been part of the financial team since 2001. As a result Chas Howes, Supergroup’s Group Financial Director, will see his duties cut back.

Both will join Supergroup’s board of directors.
