The Kooples opens first US stores

The Kooples has made the jump to the United States. Having launched several corners in the US in late 2012, the French brand for men and women opened its first two monobrand stores in July in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and plans for a third in New York by the end of August.

In San Francisco, the brand has opened the doors to a 2,000 square foot location on Fillmore Street. In July, it launched a second California store, this time in Los Angeles. At 3,230 square feet, the store on South Robertson Boulevard also houses a corner for the brand’s secondary line, The Kooples Sport, in addition to its main collection.

The French brand’s first New York flagship is expected to open by the end of August on West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District, and will be approximately 2,500 square feet.
