The 4,000-square-foot store is a three-story town house carrying the brand’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections, as well as fine and vintage jewelry, furniture, artwork, and décor and specialty pieces. Co-founders and designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen collaborated on the store’s interior design with architect Jacques Grange, and the townhouse features handpicked furniture and décor in addition to Grange’s custom pieces.

The first floor salon is decorated with Grange’s custom wardrobes, mirrors and rails, which leads to the footwear atrium. The store’s second floor houses The Row’s ready-to-wear collection and the final floor showcases the brand’s eyewear collection with Oliver Peoples as well as a dining room set by Jacques Adnet and an intimate salon for private appointments.

“We had our eyes on 17 east 71st street before we opened our Los Angeles store in 2014,” said Mary-Kate Olsen. “We knew we wanted this space to represent The Row in Manhattan and are thrilled that we can now call it our East Coast home.”

Much like the Los Angeles store, the New York City location offers clients every item in the space for sale including furniture and décor from Delorenzo Gallery, Wyeth, and Gallery BAC, and specialty items such as Masa ceramics, Charvet, and Santa Maria Novella apothecary.

The Row Madison Avenue store is the second store to open from the brand joining the brand’s flagship retail location on Melrose Place in Los Angeles.
