Thierry Mugler, owned by the Clarins Group, is currently undergoing major internal reorganisation. Within the space of just a few weeks the label saw the departure of artistic director Nicola Formichetti (who headed over to Diesel) and well as Sébastien Peigné and Romain Kremer, heads of design for Thierry Mugler ready-to-wear women and men respectively. Thierry Mugler himself even left his position of artistic director of Thierry Mugler Parfums, where he had been at the helm since 1992. He remains an advisor to the fashion house.

The label is gearing up for the roll-out of its first store in Italy, which will open on June 25 in Milan. The store will be a part of ‘It’s 30 Manzoni’, a multi-brand retailer owned by Ittierre.

Ittierre has portfolio of around a dozen licensing agreements, including deals with John Galliano, Jean-Paul Gaultier Homme, Pierre Balmain, Guy Laroche, Tommy Hilfiger Collection and Karl Lagerfeld Paris. The company also manages production for several different brands.
