Tilly’s names Jon Kubo as Chief Digital Officer
Tilly’s announced on Monday that it has named Jon Kubo the new Creative Digital Officer, effective August 15, 2016. In the newly created position, Kubo will oversee Tilly’s e-commerce and digital marketing to define a long-term vision for the company’s digital efforts and create consistency in the digital consumer experience.
Kubo heads to Tilly’s from Boot Barn where he served as Chief Digital Officer, a position he held since May 2015. He also served as EVP, Chief Digital Officer and SVP, E-Commerce and Chief Information Officer at Wet Seal; Chief Product Officer at 8thBridge; and EVP, Chief Administration Officer and SVP, Chief Information Officer at F.A.O. Schwarz.
Tilly’s is a Southern California-based specialty retailer and it currently operates 225 stores and a website.
