New York based-designer Tim Coppens and Eastpak co-designed a limited edition collection of backpacks that debuted on February 3 during New York Men’s Fashion Week. The mixed-media backpacks are constructed in leather with mesh and quilted backs and contrasting drawstring lacing.

This is the second time that Tim Coppens and Eastpak have teamed on a backpack collection. The first was when Coppens participated in the 4th edition of Eastpak Artist Studio. Of the collaboration, Coppens said, “Working with Eastpak was a natural partnership for us as both brands take heavy influence and inspiration from urban youth culture.”
Eastpak was established in 1952, originally manufacturing military-issue packs and duffells for the U.S. army. Eastpak is now part of the VF portfolio and offers functional and fashionable backpacks, as well as shoulder bags, travel gear and accessories.
