The Boyfriend Collection features “borrowed from the boys” styles that maintain a balance between sporty sex appeal and tomboyish ease. Snyder and Champion reworked signature collaboration pieces to best fit the female body, including t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, sweatpants and varsity jackets.

“So many women told us they were borrowing their boyfriends’ City Gym gear that we decided to design a line of sophisticated casualwear with a feminine touch,” said Snyder on his website. “Referencing classics from the Champion archives, The Boyfriend Collection reworks signature essentials in sexier shapes and softer fabrics, for a fresh version of iconic sport style that is all yours.

To support the launch, Todd Snyder and Champion reached out to friends from the Spring community and the fashion industry to highlight each item from the collection, including Pamela Love, Marissa Webb, Danielle and Jodie Snyder of Dannijo, Jennifer Zucchini of Fluer du Mal, Vanessa Packer of ModelFit and Whitney Pozgay of Whit.

Mobile shopping app Spring launched in 2013 offering over 900 brands, including Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Opening Ceremony, Equipment, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Theory, and Shinola among others. Venture capitalist David Tisch founded the New York City-based mobile app that has been reported to valued at around $90 million in 2015.
