Tous launches flagship in NY, plans further opening at World Trade Center
Tous is set to add two new locations to its North American property portfolio. The Spanish jewelry brand is expanding its footprint in New York with the opening of a new flagship store in Soho, which will be followed by a further boutique at the World Trade Center.
The new Soho outpost takes the number of standalone Tous stores in the US to 18. The luxury brand is also available in 60 multi-brand retailers across the US.
It also marks the second location in New York, where Tous launched its first store in 2004 at the Rockefeller Center.
Tous’ newest contribution to the NY retail scene showcases the brand’s new store design, presented first at the newly opened stores on Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, at the Palacio de Hierro Polanco department store in Mexico and at Shanghai’s airport.
Located in a three-storey building at 412 West Broadway, the flagship benefits from one of New York’s most important shopping streets. In addition to a sales area, the space houses a showroom and a business area dedicated to the management of the brand’s operations with wholesale partner ELV Distribution.
Since its launch in 1920, Tous has become one of the leading global jewelry brands with presence in over 50 countries with more than 500 stores. The brand operates through retail, travel retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels, which generated sales growth of 18.3% in 2015.
