Trina Turk launches SeaVees collaboration

Trina Turk's latest collaboration is with Santa Barbara, CA-based sneaker company SeaVees. The two brands have launched a collection celebrating relaxed California lifestyle that is what Turk calls "a nice pairing."

The collection includes five styles for women and four men's styles. Prints range from multi-colored ladybugs to bold florals grounded in yellow or blue. Turk says of the collection, "Since we’re known for prints, this is a great way to express who we are and cater to the casual side of what we do.

The designer explained "The idea of collaborating with another Californian company was fun, especially one that is also associated with beach and surf culture."

Turk is active in seeking out collaborations for her resort-inspired brand. Last year she installed a custom branded poolside cabana experience at the W Los Angeles, following a series of other hotel installations at standard holiday destinations including Hawaii and Florida.

The Trina Turk x SeaVees collection is now available at Trina Turk boutiques as well as online. Prices range from $78 for slip-on styles to $88 for a lace-up.
