UBM Fashion hires Mirjam Dietz as consultant and ambassador

UBM Fashion has its sights set on the European market. After focusing on the US market in recent years and launching IFF Magic this year with JFW International, the fashion tradeshow organizer announced on Tuesday a strategic partnership with Mirjam Dietz to build awareness and sales for UBM Fashion apparel and accessories events in Europe.

Dietz possesses extensive experience in the fashion tradeshow industry, particularly in Germany and other European markets. She served on the board at Igedo Company, a German trade fair organizer, and she worked on several projects in Germany and abroad for Pure London and CPM Moscow. The fashion industry expert also served as an advisor to the organizer of Berlin trade show Bread & Butter.
 
In addition, Dietz in 2013 founded her namesake agency for business development and communications, and worked with numerous clients including Munichfashion.company and GmbH.

"I am honored to have been appointed as official consultant by UBM Fashion. The power of the group is extremely impressive and the people behind these fashion trade shows are experts,” said Dietz. “The United States represents a huge market and this is a fantastic opportunity for European brands to enter the United States or to enhance their export activities.”
 
At UBM, Dietz will build the awareness of the company and its shows and will manage the activities of the new team of representatives in Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Dietz will also act as an ambassador for UBM, helping to build relationships with European Government Trade Offices and Associations and fashion brands.
