Under Armour extends partnership with Stephen Curry

Under Armour announced Wednesday the extension of its partnership with reigning NBA Champion and NBA MVP, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors through 2024. Curry joined Under Armour founder and CEO, Kevin Plank at the company’s Global Headquarters in Baltimore to announce the extension.

Under Armour launched Curry’s first signature basketball shoe, the Curry One, and his signature apparel in February. The Curry Two, the second basketball shoe for Curry, recently launched in Asia as part of Curry’s first-ever Under Armour tour of the region, and it will launch in the States and globally on October 24.

Under Armour will continue to grow Curry’s footwear line and apparel, and Curry will continue to play a central role in Under Armour’s global marketing initiatives.
 
The extension follows Under Armour’s recent 10-year partnership with the NBA to become a title partner of the organization’s Draft Combine, Jr. NBA program in the US and the NBA Fit app.
